Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips leaders to move beyond directing people towards developing the capability, confidence and ownership required for stronger performance. This LOCEPX Training course strengthens the practical coaching skills leaders need to have better development conversations, challenge thinking, provide meaningful feedback and help people take greater responsibility for their performance and growth.
Strong leaders do not simply solve problems for their teams; they build people who can think, decide and perform more effectively for themselves. The Leader as Coach™ helps participants make coaching a practical part of everyday leadership rather than an occasional formal activity. The programme explores when to coach, when to direct, how to ask stronger questions, how to listen effectively and how to turn performance conversations into opportunities for development. Participants will also examine how to identify potential, address capability gaps and create meaningful development pathways. The emphasis is not on turning managers into professional coaches, but on developing leaders who consistently strengthen the capability of the people around them while maintaining clear expectations, accountability and organisational performance.
