Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips senior managers to make the critical transition from successful functional leadership to effective executive-level responsibility. This LOCEPX Training course develops the broader perspective, strategic judgement, leadership presence and enterprise mindset required to operate confidently where decisions have organisation-wide consequences.
The transition to executive leadership is not simply a promotion into a more senior role. What made someone successful as a senior manager can become limiting when the expectation shifts from delivering within a function to shaping outcomes across the enterprise. The Executive Transition™ helps participants understand this fundamental change in leadership responsibility. Participants will examine how to move beyond functional expertise, think across the organisation, contribute strategically, navigate executive relationships and make decisions involving greater ambiguity, risk and consequence. The programme also addresses executive communication, influence, accountability and leadership presence. Participants leave with a clear understanding of what must change in how they think, lead, decide and contribute as they prepare to operate successfully at executive level.
