Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips new and emerging managers to make one of the most important transitions in their career: moving from being responsible primarily for their own work to becoming responsible for the performance, development and success of others. This LOCEPX Training course develops the practical management capability, confidence and mindset required to lead people effectively from the beginning.
Being promoted because you perform well does not automatically prepare you to manage others. New managers must learn to delegate work they previously completed themselves, set expectations, give feedback, manage different personalities, address performance concerns and establish appropriate relationships with former peers. The Manager Transition™ provides a practical foundation for navigating these challenges. Participants will explore the shift in identity and responsibility that comes with management, understand what their teams need from them and develop the essential disciplines required to manage performance, communication, priorities and people. The programme helps emerging managers avoid common early-management mistakes and establish strong management habits that can support their continued leadership development.
