Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips executives and senior leaders to build governance that enables strategy, strengthens decisions and creates genuine accountability for organisational results. This LOCEPX Training course moves governance beyond structures, committees and reporting cycles to focus on how senior leaders provide effective oversight, exercise judgement, clarify decision rights and ensure that strategic commitments translate into action.
Good governance should enable performance, not create unnecessary bureaucracy. Yet organisations can become constrained by unclear authority, duplicated governance, slow escalation, excessive reporting and accountability that becomes diluted across committees and leadership structures. Governance That Delivers™ provides a practical executive approach for addressing these challenges. Participants will examine governance architecture, executive roles, decision rights, strategic oversight, risk, performance information, challenge and accountability. Particular attention is given to creating the right balance between control and empowerment, ensuring leaders have sufficient visibility to intervene without becoming involved in operational detail. The programme enables participants to build governance arrangements that improve decision quality, accelerate execution and maintain clear accountability for strategic outcomes.
