Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips managers and leaders to address difficult conversations and workplace conflict with greater confidence, judgement and professionalism. This LOCEPX Training course develops the practical capability to raise sensitive issues early, manage disagreement constructively and navigate emotionally charged situations without damaging relationships, trust or performance.
Avoiding difficult conversations rarely makes problems disappear. Unresolved tension, unclear expectations, behavioural issues and interpersonal conflict can quickly affect collaboration, morale and delivery. The Courageous Conversation™ helps participants understand why difficult conversations become challenging and provides a structured approach for preparing, conducting and following through on them effectively. Participants will explore conflict dynamics, communication, emotional responses, listening, assertiveness and constructive challenge. They will learn how to separate facts from assumptions, address behaviour rather than personality, maintain composure and create clarity around expectations and next steps. The programme enables managers to approach difficult situations earlier and more confidently while balancing empathy with accountability and protecting productive professional relationships.
