Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips new and emerging managers with the essential skills required to manage people, priorities and performance effectively. This LOCEPX Training course provides a practical foundation in the everyday responsibilities of management, helping participants understand not only what managers are expected to do, but how to do it confidently and consistently.
Becoming responsible for a team introduces challenges that technical expertise or strong individual performance alone cannot solve. Managers must communicate clearly, organise work, delegate effectively, motivate different people, manage performance, solve problems and handle difficult situations while continuing to deliver organisational priorities. The Management Essentials™ provides participants with a practical management toolkit for navigating these responsibilities. The programme focuses on the core behaviours and disciplines that distinguish effective managers: creating clarity, building trust, setting expectations, making decisions, giving feedback, managing priorities and enabling others to perform. Participants leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to strengthen their effectiveness as managers.
