The course combines practical change-readiness frameworks, diagnostics, management scenarios, case analysis, facilitated discussion, role-play and workplace application. Participants work through realistic situations involving employee concern, scepticism, resistance, change fatigue, capability gaps and unsuccessful previous change. Rather than relying on generic approaches to resistance, participants learn to diagnose what is actually preventing movement and select management interventions appropriate to the situation.

Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips managers to understand why people resist change and develop the practical capability to move teams towards greater readiness, engagement and adoption. This LOCEPX Training course challenges the assumption that resistance is simply a negative employee attitude and helps managers identify the underlying concerns, experiences and organisational conditions that influence how people respond to change.
Employees rarely resist change for one reason. Resistance may arise from uncertainty, lack of understanding, previous change experiences, capability concerns, workload pressure, loss of control, limited trust or disagreement with what is being proposed. Making Change Work™ provides managers with a structured approach for diagnosing these factors before determining how to respond. Participants learn to assess readiness, identify barriers to adoption, communicate more effectively, involve employees appropriately and create the practical conditions that enable people to move forward. The programme shifts the focus from overcoming resistance to deliberately building readiness so that change can become understood, accepted, adopted and sustained.
