Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips experienced managers preparing for senior leadership to make one of the most important transitions in their careers: moving from successfully managing a defined area of responsibility to leading with a broader organisational perspective. This LOCEPX Training course develops the strategic judgement, enterprise thinking, executive influence and leadership maturity required to operate effectively at a more senior level.
Success as a manager does not automatically translate into success as a senior leader. The scope of responsibility changes. Leaders are expected to look beyond their own function, think longer term, navigate greater ambiguity, influence more complex stakeholders and make decisions based on what is best for the organisation as a whole. The Leadership Step-Up™ helps participants understand this shift and deliberately prepare for it. Participants examine how their mindset, priorities, relationships, decision-making and leadership presence must evolve as they move from managing delivery to shaping direction, building organisational capability and contributing to enterprise-wide performance.
