Introduction
This LOCEPX Training course equips experienced and middle managers to broaden their perspective beyond the immediate demands of their team, function or operational responsibilities. This LOCEPX Training course develops the strategic thinking capability required to understand the wider organisation, recognise emerging issues, connect decisions with longer-term priorities and contribute more effectively to strategic conversations.
As managers become more experienced, they are increasingly expected to do more than deliver today's priorities. They must understand where the organisation is going, recognise how their area contributes to wider objectives, anticipate the implications of change and make decisions that consider the organisation as a whole. Think Beyond Your Team™ provides managers with a practical approach for developing this broader perspective. Participants will learn to distinguish strategic from operational thinking, examine the external and internal environment, identify patterns and emerging issues, understand organisational interdependencies and evaluate choices from multiple perspectives. The programme helps managers move from primarily managing what is directly in front of them towards thinking more broadly about what could affect performance, capability and future success.
